Mr. Kmetz has been in private practice since 1991 after being released from active duty in the United States Navy. Mr. Kmetz retired from the Navy as a Commander. He is admitted to the practice of law in New York, New Jersey and Virginia. He practices in the state courts and the Federal Courts, including the United States Supreme Court. He also represents active duty members of the Armed Forces in courts-martial cases and administrative discharge boards.
Mr. Kmetz received his B.A., in 1974,from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York and his J.D., in 1984, from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California.
Mr. Kmetz is a Visiting Professor of Law at the University of Marie Curie-Slowdowska, located in Lublin, Poland.
